breton – ‘interference’

You know this guy. Well, most people know this guy. Well, we’ve all seen this guy at some point or another.  What we’ve made of him is another matter, but this video is a day in the life of That Bloke.  We might not know where it’s heading, but  the lifestyle sucks you in, whether you want it to or not.

Breton describe themselves as ‘sonic and visual experimentalists’.  Yes, I know that’s usually code for ‘cod-Animal Collective/Grizzly Bear/Sleigh Bells Brooklyn hipster nightmare’. This is not that.  What this is, is a pounding, thrilling mash-up of hard dance, dirty indie and kitchen sink humour, resulting – against all odds – in one of the year’s early contenders for best filthy pop song.
