Guillemots – ‘Fleet’
So the thing is that about two months ago Guillemots – who I invariably love and who released one of my favourite albums of last year in Walk The River – released a new album.
Hello Land is the first of four this year. FOUR. My brain literally can’t compute that much potential awesome and, so, I’ve sort of decided it might be better to try and comprehend it all in one go at the end. Because obviously *that* makes much more sense.
Fyfe and co have now released ‘Fleet’ as a free download and, well, you should get it because it’s lovely and chilled out poppy joy. It’s definitely my favourite song from the album, and sums up everything that’s really good about Fyfe’s songwriting and arrangements and Arista on bass and just general lushness.
Also it’s slightly more happy than Walk The River and it’s really good so just get it already would you?
The band have been nice enough to float a special streamable embed thing in my general direction, so you can get it here! Hurrah! Fill in the form below and, well, you know the rest…
