Now come on Tom, there’s trying to copy someone’s hairdo and then there’s just being a bit of a Single White Male about things.  Bit weird?

This is so cute!  The song is ‘Sovereign Light Cafe’, which appears on Strangeland and is, I am told, a “key touchstone” for the album.  Which is usually just a industry way of saying “Future Single, innit?”  When I was down in Bexhill at Keane’s Big Comeback Gig the other week I went to eat at the very same Sovereign Light Cafe that inspired this song.  Yeah, it’s totally a real place and I’ve been there.  I was slightly disappointed with the chips but to be perfectly honest given that it was about the only cafe for about a mile either side and they had tea that was hot I was still happy.

ANYWAY.  The point is, I like puppets and the Muppets and this song, and it’s all just generally very sweet and therefore perfect for Easter.

Bonus: here’s the actual proper video for ‘Silenced By The Night’, which I was holding off posting.  Well actually I was waiting on the ‘Disconnected’ video which sounds Proper Mental, but that might not appear for ages now so this is what we’re getting instead, okay?!
