spector – never fade away
You may have guessed by now that I like big, melodramatic, somewhat overblown and ‘hideously mainstream dahling’ indie guitar anthems. Well here’s another one.
If you like Chapel Club, White Lies, Editors, really any of that lot, these fellas will probably inspire lighters to be held aloft. Or, in my case, most likely acting up at a festival, sustained by The Vodka, making a big fuss of singing along for the tellybox cameras and ultimately falling over the barrier.
It is by a band called Spector and it is called ‘Never Fade Away’ and it is very good.
