Madrid, July 2013

As you might have gathered if you follow me On The Twitter, I’ve been in Spain the last couple of weeks. Yes, again. Well I am learning Spanish you know.

First up: Madrid, which I’ve met before but only very briefly, with no real time for sightseeing. This time, that changed.

I went to El Rastro (aka. Epic Market) too, but didn’t take my big camera… mostly because a. I was looking to spend money (I did) and b. if I had taken it, I suspect I might not have come back with it.

Madrid is a very different city to Barcelona, Madrid feeling more frantic and generally city-esque while Barcelona feels a tiny bit more chilled. They’re both still absolute party cities, though.
